Picture it.  Chicago, 2009: Last week during Oprah's Karaoke Challenge.

I'm sitting on the couch with N.  Oprah has just announced that (eventual winner) Abraham McDonald has performed.

N: That's your cousin?

Me: Nah.  Same plantation, though.

N: *Blank, yet mildly disguted stare*

She underappreciates my humor.  She really does.
